Oklahoma Wins Perfect 10 Challenge

Oklahoma Women’s Gymnastics placed first at the Perfect 10 Challenge, remaining undefeated in 2013. The win in Oklahoma City brings the Sooners to 14-0 this season. On the way to the victory, Oklahoma won every event title of the night. Brie Olson claimed the all around and uneven bars titles with 39.550 and 9.95 respectively. Haley Scaman won vault with a 9.9 for her Yurchenko one-and-a-half.. Sophomore Erica Brewer scored a career best of 9.95 on beam to win that event. Taylor Spears took home the floor title with 9.90.

Oklahoma hosts UCLA at the Lloyd Noble Center February 22 at 7pm.
